Supplier Development Accreditation Tender

TENDER OPPORTUNITY

THE DELIVERY OF A SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT ACCREDITATION PROGRAMME

MENTORING AND SUPPORT FOR  THIRD PARTY ACCREDITATION SCHEMES SUCH AS BRITISH RETAIL GLOBAL STANDARD

Scotland Food & Drink (SF&D) invites tenders for the design and delivery of a Supplier Accreditation  Programme from companies with a successful track record in assisting businesses to achieve the British Retail Consortium Global Standard (BRC) or a Global Food Standard Initiative (GFSI) equivalent international standard.

Scotland Food and Drink has invested in a collective public sector Export Plan  and in a UK Market Development Strategy which is helping Scottish food and drink businesses expand into UK and international markets.

An important element in accelerating this growth by opening up new market opportunities is increasing the number of Scottish businesses who are approved by an independent third party accreditation body that in turn will provides buyers and consumers with evidence of high standards of quality, safety and operational performance.

Tenders are sought from organisations with a track record in successfully mentoring companies into an internationally recognised independent third party accreditation scheme.

Tenderers are invited to stipulate within their bid how many businesses they will work with during the contract period.

The value of the tender opportunity is anticipated to be in the region of £100,000 excluding vat.
