Developing a strategy for growth
Fresh Thinking, the industry strategy sets out the growth ambitions and opportunities and was pulled together with input from businesses and Stakeholder Organisations.
The growth will come from individual businesses delivering their own ambitious plans. But the targets are stretching - so it will take the collective efforts of all the organisations which support the industry to deliver a comprehensive Action Plan.
The Scotland Food & Drink Executive Group has developed the initial actions to support the achievement of the industry targets. To help prioritise our work a number of key themes have been identified.
The priority work themes are:-
- GVA Processors
- GVA Primary
- R&D Spend/Innovation
- Productivity - Skills
- Turnover - UK
- Turnover - Scale & Collaboration
