Great Glen Distillery, a trailblazer in the Scottish gin scene, has once again triumphed, securing the coveted gold medal for ‘Best Scottish Pink Gin’ at the Scottish Gin Awards 2023. This prestigious recognition follows their recent success at the Gin Cooperative Awards, where they clinched two gold medals and a silver medal for their outstanding gins.

Scottish Gin Awards 2023:

 The national awards programme which celebrates excellence in Scottish gin has revealed the best gins made in Scotland as part of its 7th annual competition. 
The Scottish Gin Awards is the one of the largest gin competitions in the UK and revealed its winners last night following a rigorous judging process involving the blind tasting of almost 200 gins, all distilled in Scotland.  21 Scottish Gin brands achieved medal status and 9 Scottish gin brands collected Gold Medals.    

  • Gold Medal for ‘Best Scottish Pink Gin’: Great Glen Distillery’s exceptional pink gin stood out among its peers, earning the highest accolade in its category.

Gin Cooperative Awards:

The Gin Cooperative Awards combine both taste and packaging evaluations, providing a comprehensive assessment of each product. Judges meticulously score entries both neat and as a gin and tonic, ensuring a real-world reflection of all gin enthusiasts.

  • Gold Medal for Inverness Gin in the ‘Best New Scottish Gin’ category: Great Glen Distillery’s innovative approach and unique botanicals impressed the judges, making them stand out as a rising star in the gin industry.
  • Gold Medal for Inverness Gin in the ‘Best Scottish Gin and Tonic’ category : Inverness gin not only shines on its own but also pairs beautifully with tonic, showcasing its versatility and balance.
  • Silver Medal for Inverness Gin in the ‘Consumer Judges Award’ category : Chosen by gin enthusiasts themselves, this award reflects the gin’s popularity and appeal among consumers.
  • Bronze Medal for Great Glen Premium Pink Gin in the ‘Flavoured Gin category:
